Azurtane company has launched a new technology for waste gas sensors, which has helped Red Funnel ferry companies reduce the fuel consumption up to 15 percent a day.
With the completion of market test, the new waste gas sensor technology of Azurtane Limited remote ship data monitoring company will be promoted to market.
Azurtane Company has been testing its exhaust sensors in the ships of Red Funnel Ferry company in the south Cape Town since 2013. The project involves a second by second measurement of fuel for each voyage between the Red Jet 4 high-speed ferry in south Cape Town and kauz.
